Fiction in October

My daughter thought I would enjoy this novel.
I did too.
My friend really enjoyed this tale.
I did too.

I like reading fables
and mysteries.
I am reading
all the China Bayles Mysteries.
China is a herbalist.
These treasures are quick
and so much fun!
I also have stacks of non-fiction
so many books to read!

I wish I were a writer and could write great books like the ones you feature in this post!.. Most of them are totally new titles to me but they sound so good! I've done a great deal re-reading classical literature since I've started working on my e-libary for the Kindle. Please check out my progress at http://forward2-kindle.blogspot.com/. Any comments or suggestions are highly appreciated!

I could send you Brend Heinrich's "Summer". It is a good read too.

Beleive it or not I just finished reading a book you sent to me in 2008. It is _People of the Book_. For some reason I started it a long time ago then I quit reading it. Then I found it (under the bed) and decided to give it another go. I liked the book but it had so many sad aspects. History is not always pretty.
